Since the client is passionate about antiques and vintage items and wished to reduce waste while refurbishing the site, the design team utilized a minimalistic design language and set a rugged, soft loft undertone for this renovation. In order to construct a retro ambiance, the designers selected organic coatings to bring forth a vintage, mottled touch. The marrying of subtle, restrained chromaticity, nature, and indirect lighting and the reusing of objects tell the tale of design bringing about a different kind of value in the social ecosystem.
