In this renovation project, the design integrated the new needs and ideas of the occupants with the existing conditions of the old space. The renovated old apartment provided more diversified purposes by using novel design methods to bring out the space different looks and meanings. Most importantly, the space also serves a emotional anchor to the owner, the place where loving memories forged from his childhood. This project has demonstrated an old space renovation with preservation of owner's emotional connection.
