Crustacean Bracelet

  • Awarded April 15, 2015

This bracelet was inspired by the exoskeletons of crustaceans. The most important part of the design process was to incorporate the natural elements and movement of these mysterious creatures into the flexing of the bracelet and its clasp. The mechanism, though simple, was very challenging to perfect.

This piece was fabricated using 3D printing techniques and is designed to be worn simply on either wrist.
