The primary operation is using it as a dinning table & secondly as a sketch board. The challenge was how to make this long dinning table steady because the legs are inclined. Much research has been made regarding the type of wood and the corresponding properties of it, like hardness & flexibility & secondly the way to make it gradient in order to be used as a sketch table, observing different styles of drawing boards so traditional joining techniques was used & also the lift mechanism is with tracks in order to receive the gradient.
