The brand has three diverse targets: art enthusiasts, professional traders, and curious achievers. The company operates within the contemporary art investment field. The naming had to express the business vision of freeing art investment. Finally, due to Feral Horses’ mission to mingle the artistic world with the financial one, it was also crucial to come up with a fil rouge that would have brought some harmony and would have balanced creativity and uniqueness with strictness and standards.

Interview with Emanuele Grittini on Feral Horses Corporate Identity

What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
I wanted to meet the needs of the client by uniting them with my desire to create something unique
What are your future plans for this award winning design?
Make it become one of my warhorses on my portfolio and make sure that it continues to win
Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
The project has been commissioned, and together with the client we have achieved this wonderful result.
Who is the target customer for his design?
Users who come from new markets, users who approach different forms of equity investment and less expensive, classic investors who want to diversify and offer their users a different service of investment, art advocates and eventually any user wants to try to invest in something unique.
What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
Fortunately there is no such thing, or at least, at the time it was a real innovation.
How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
The naming was brought by the client for motivations dedicated to him.
Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
I used moodboards, mockups and various design software, plus many sheets, pencils and erasers.
What is the most unique aspect of your design?
The uniqueness is proper of every point of view and therefore of every person who observes this design, you should ask them.
What is the role of technology in this particular design?
It made it possible to prototype and bring the project from my mind to the real world.
Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
I analyzed the graphic trends and the type of style to be adopted, but I also left space for my creativity without braking.
How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
To see how it would come out, whether it was a winner or not and to test one of my best projects...
What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
Every project I perform leaves a trace in me, a sign that improves me, increasing my experience and my abilities, exponentially increasing my knowledge of the subject.
Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
The best way to say anything else is to simply look at the project.
