Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

I have always loved art and design, So I studied architecture at university, but years later after I got my masters in architecture I found Jewelry designing fascinating and since then I've found my way inside jewelry design.

Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

Delmor purpose is to make specific jewelry designs and custom made designs for any tastes.

What is "design" for you?

It is a possession to me. Designing makes me feel alive and creativity makes me feel powerful. It feels great to design a piece based on your imaginations and see how it comes real.

What kinds of works do you like designing most?

I like historical and architectural jewelry designs. I also like nature-inspired designing, but I believe everything in this beautiful world can be a subject for a magnificent design.

What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

I can't say I have a favorite since there are lots of fascinating designs in all fields and I honestly cant choose one.

What was the first thing you designed for a company?

It was a bypass engagement ring designed for a company in Iran which unfortunately I can't name.

What is your favorite material / platform / technology?

I like working with MatrixGold for CAD designing and Keyshot for rendering.

When do you feel the most creative?

my most creative moments are late at nights when I'm about going to sleep, but sometimes It's when I'm having intense feelings,

Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?

being practical while beautiful, and I enjoy focusing on details.

What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?

I feel confident and I feel like I'm growing more after every design.

What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?

I feel I'm on right track, and It's a powerful feeling and a combination of succeed and relief.

What makes a design successful?

Since people have different tastes, designing something that most people would like, makes a design successful.

When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?

Details being placed right is the first aspect that I would consider. Design being practical while showing the concept comes next.

From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

Designers are an important part of a society that can bring hope and happiness to other people in society. Also using material and techniques that have lesser negative effect on the environment should be considered by a designer.

How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?

Design itself can make the future. Designers can turn their imaginations into reality and build a future doing that.

Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?

Everything can inspire me, including people, their thoughts and beliefs, nature, buildings, histories and everything that is happening in world. I feed it with communicating, thinking and researching a lot. Also traveling and going on tours help a lot.

How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?

I don't know if I have a specific style but I always try to be detailed and to combine relative subjects into one design.

Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?

I was born and live in Iran and I'm sure cultural heritage does affect my designs since Iran has a rich art history. Iran heritage and historical artistry is like a university of art for every artist which is the biggest pro, But there are some limitations in designing based on heritages.

How do you work with companies?

I'm a freelancer and usually I work with companies project based.

What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?

My suggestion to companies is to find a creative designer, trust them and allow them to grow their creativity into their designs and not to limit them only with their own ideas.

Can you talk a little about your design process?

I pick a subject first, then I think and research about it, and then I think about it's designing techniques that it would be practical while beautiful and finally I start It's CAD designing.

What is your "golden rule" in design?

My golden rule is that everything should look perfect by my own eyes.

What skills are most important for a designer?

being acute, creative, responsible and productive beside being skilled.

Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?

I try to work and design on a certain schedule. Sometimes It doesn't work but most of the times It does.
