As the first building amid the city complex turned from old town to the city gateway, the bookstore was expected to merge into the different development stages naturally. Explorations based on Negation Logic oriented the design to a delicately-cut crystal. Being divided horizontally into 2 parts, the upper part of the building was faceted and battered the sliced facades by a vertical angle of 4-6 degrees towards the sky, as a new town pioneer, while the transparent lower part was fit into the human scale for better integration into the culturally unique streets.Learn More
