About Inn Soper Hotel

With the originality of the designer, the hotel combines classical elements with fashionable and sophisticated style, cleverly showing the local multi-cultural and elegant charm, and enjoy an immersive luxury accommodation experience. In this charming space, iconic design elements and craft details can be seen everywhere, expressing sincere respect for the rich local culture.

Lichen Ding's Inn Soper Hotel represents a distinguished achievement in contemporary hospitality design, demonstrating how spatial orchestration and material refinement may create environments that elevate the experience of arrival into an act of aesthetic contemplation. The work positions itself within traditions of ceremonial architecture that have long understood the lobby as threshold between public and private realms, a liminal space requiring both grandeur and welcome in careful equilibrium. The designer appears to engage with Art Deco proportional systems and theatrical staging while filtering these historical references through contemporary minimalist sensibilities, achieving a synthesis that feels simultaneously timeless and distinctly of the present moment. Technical accomplishment manifests throughout the material palette, where warm travertine walls establish tonal continuity against which copper, gold, and illuminated glass elements create measured moments of chromatic intensity without disrupting overall harmony. The central feature wall merits particular attention for its sophisticated layering of mosaic groundwork with applied golden fragments that suggest landscape forms emerging from atmospheric dissolution, inviting associations with traditional ink wash painting traditions reinterpreted through contemporary material vocabularies. The suspended sculptural pendants contribute both functional illumination and artistic presence, their organic leaf morphology providing biomorphic counterpoint to the architecture's geometric discipline. Spatial hierarchy unfolds through considered proportional relationships, with the double-height volume creating vertical aspiration while the horizontal emphasis of the reception desk and flanking light columns maintains human scale orientation. The mirror-polished floor surface doubles spatial perception while introducing an element of liquid reflection that softens the material solidity above, suggesting perhaps the contemplative qualities of still water in traditional garden design. What feelings of arrival, transition, and welcome does this carefully orchestrated spatial sequence evoke in those who pass through its threshold?

Design Interview about Inn Soper Hotel

The spirit of the design concept is to inspire people to rethink the meaning of luxury. The real luxury is not the unreachable high above, but a kind of rare quietness and temperature, which draws life closer and hits people's hearts directly.

From project difficulties to advantages, every step requires dedicated efforts to make it more competitive in the market.

We will continue to pay attention to customer feedback after the project is opened, so that we can make timely adjustments and achieve customer profitability goals.

It took one year from design to completion.

Designers positioned it as "French life aesthetics" in a way that blended with the local "overseas Chinese culture". Enjoy immersive luxury accommodation experience.

This is a completed and already in operation hotel.

My belief in design is that every project I undertake is unique.

Local culture

Business trips and tourists.

The design elements combine "French style" and "local regional culture" to make it unique.

Our inscription means' Art de Vivre 'and we hope it exudes an artistic sense of life.

In the design concept, we used AutoCAD and 3Dmax.

With our craftsmanship, the hotel blends classic elements with fashionable and exquisite styles, cleverly showcasing the local multicultural and elegant charm.

An excellent work requires the trust and perseverance of customers, as well as the cooperation of the construction team working day and night on site. Without everyone's dedication, we cannot achieve this satisfactory result.

The visual effect conveyed is more perfect and precise.

In order to fully explore the local regional culture, we conducted multiple days of on-site inspections and recorded historical events.

Hurry construction dates and fixed capital investment.

Striving for excellent results is the best encouragement for all teams involved in this project.

Every time the design is completed, it is a learning process. Despite the difficulties, it has also accumulated a lot of new experience, which is happy and fulfilling.
