The Design

About Organic Series Artistic Pieces

The designs are experimentations that seek to generate sensations and stimuli for viewers. These creations often arise from the designer's unconscious side and others are inspired by nature and the forms of the surrounding world. In some of these images there is a philosophical search, which makes the viewer think about the meaning of our human existence

Design Interview

What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?

This series of images arise from the experimentation of shapes, textures and lighting through 3d software.

What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?

My focus was on the idea of creating a universe of organic and abstract creatures.

What are your future plans for this award winning design?

I hope that they will have a lot of exposure and can be exhibited in some art space.

Grand Interview

Your Organic Series Artistic Pieces demonstrates a fascinating exploration of bacteriological microorganisms and human organs - could you elaborate on how these biological inspirations shaped your creative process and final compositions?

I often turn to nature as a source of inspiration, and in this case I focus on biology and the world of bacteria because I am interested in how they behave in a way so similar to human beings.

The intricate textures and harmonious compositions in Organic Series Artistic Pieces create powerful sensory stimuli - what specific techniques and artistic decisions did you employ to achieve this delicate balance between form, color, and materiality?

I wanted the elements of the series to be read as a family and so I applied a reduced colour palette to them that creates visual cohesion. In terms of materiality, I also tried to maintain the same systematic coherence but at the same time have variables that make each character unique, so that each of them proposes a certain sensory experience. The settings become monochromatic to move to a second level of reading, leaving the organic compositions as the protagonist.

As a Silver A' Design Award winner, Organic Series Artistic Pieces stands out for its philosophical depth - could you share the deeper meanings and questions about human existence that you aimed to explore through these digital organisms?

I have used different digital techniques and experimented with the properties of the materials, such as translucent or hair simulation. The process requires a lot of trial and error and achieving the right amount of imperfection in each material so that it feels natural and warm, separating them from the coldness and perfection of the standard 3D language.

Unique Properties
This series shows a set of living organisms that coexist with each other and have their own autonomy.

These creatures are the result of formal searches and experimentations, of textures and color. These combinations of different materials make the viewer receive different sensory stimuli.
Dimensions & Packaging
Digital technique.
Tags
art direction, digital art, cgi, 3d design, art, sculpture, artwork, sculpture art
Production Technology
Digital art with 3D software.
Design Challenge
The challenge in these images was to generate realistic textures and harmonious compositions from the combination of various shapes and colors.
Research
These organic figures make up a family since they are conceived in a systematic way, with constants and variations in terms of morphology, color and materiality.
Inspiration
my inspiration was the bacteriological microorganisms and the organs that make up the human being.
Project Duration
The duration of this project has been approximately 6 months.

It was made in Buenos Aires.
Operation Flow
the images generate sensory stimuli in the user based on the color and textures used.
