About Bucket Arch Tea Table

Bucket Arch is a tea table inspired by the arch of traditional Chinese wooden architecture. The design applies the shape of the arch together with circular and square forms, keeping ancient elements within a compact size that suits present-day use. The table is made of solid black walnut, a stable and calm colour that blends into interiors. The tabletop is finely ground with CNC machine tools and then polished by hand. Bucket Arch measures 1600 by 750 by 720 millimetres and is suited to study rooms and living rooms for dining or tea.

Project Duration: It will start in Shenyang in April 2023 and be completed in September 2023.
Operation Flow: It is very suitable for dining or leisure entertainment, whether it is eating or drinking tea, and can be applied according to the user's needs. The product material is mainly made of solid black walnut wood, with a stable and atmospheric color, which is easier to integrate into the space and add color to the space design.
Research: This design takes Chinese furniture as a reference and arch of wooden architecture as the source of inspiration for modeling. The overall design elements apply the modeling language of arch of wooden architecture and the formal language of circle and square. In order to further deepen understanding, read multiple literature related to ergonomics and current technology, hoping to achieve better reflection in the human-machine experience of furniture.
Inspiration: The origin of this project is that hope to integrate the elements of ancient Chinese architecture into the design of the dining table, so that the elements of the arch of wooden architecture of the wooden building can be combined. In addition, the object should be seamlessly integrated with the aesthetics of your current
