About The Force Interior Design
The Force is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan in 2024. The kitchen and dining areas are connected by a bar counter and utensil cabinets, which improve convenience during meal preparation and dining. A sloped grid links the public areas and answers the storage needs of the residents, keeping the space neat and comfortable without feeling oppressive. Triangular frames soften right angles and give the long space visual continuity. Fluorescent accents outline the dark surfaces. Healthy and non-toxic green building materials were used.
YEH CHUN-PENG's Interior Design articulates a sophisticated approach to contemporary residential spatial planning wherein the reduction of chromatic complexity serves not as limitation but as strategic framework, permitting material character, volumetric composition, and luminous atmosphere to emerge as primary experiential dimensions. The design appears to engage with enduring principles of modernist spatial organization—the flowing open plan, the honest expression of materials, the integration of functional storage as architectural form—while infusing these established conventions with a distinctly contemporary sensibility attuned to textural nuance and atmospheric subtlety.
