About Power Elf II Device Power Hub

Power Elf II is a desktop power hub designed for charging multiple devices. Wired and wireless charging are combined in a compact housing measuring 70 by 70 by 60 millimetres. The hub offers 65W USB fast charging, dual AC outlets, a retractable cable and a detachable magnetic wireless module. The wireless module can be docked on top or separated for bedside or handheld use. A silicone suction base keeps the hub stable during frequent plugging. The housing is made from flame-retardant engineering materials, and internal zoning separates high and low voltage parts.

Zhuhai Tessan Power Technology Co., Ltd.'s Power Elf II Device Power Hub represents a thoughtful contribution to the evolving landscape of contemporary power management design, where functional necessity increasingly intersects with aesthetic consideration and spatial consciousness within domestic and professional environments. The design demonstrates sophisticated understanding of modular architecture, presenting a compact cubic form that maximizes utility within a minimal spatial envelope, the dual-layer construction visible in the exploded presentation revealing intelligent organizational thinking that separates wireless charging functionality in the upper platform from traditional port-based charging concentrated in the base unit, a vertical stacking strategy that addresses the contemporary challenge of accommodating diverse charging protocols and device types within increasingly crowded desktop and bedside landscapes. The chromatic decision to employ deep charcoal gray with matte finish suggests design maturity and environmental versatility, the neutral palette allowing the device to recede into varied interior contexts while the strategic deployment of amber illumination at functional interfaces provides intuitive wayfinding and status communication without resorting to excessive visual noise, a restraint that speaks to confidence in form language and respect for user attention. The concentric circular detailing on the wireless charging surfaces transcends mere decorative impulse, serving as visual communication of electromagnetic function and suggesting careful consideration of user experience through symbolic reinforcement of technological capability, while the precisely executed radiused corners and chamfered edges demonstrate manufacturing sophistication and attention to tactile human interaction, acknowledging that power devices occupy intimate daily contact zones requiring both visual and haptic refinement. The modular construction philosophy evidenced by the stackable configuration suggests adaptability to evolving power needs and spatial constraints, an approach that honors principles of sustainable design through longevity and reconfigurability rather than planned obsolescence. The compositional presentation itself, employing both exploded revelation and integrated completeness across dual specimens, functions as visual rhetoric explaining complex functionality through spatial demonstration, a pedagogical gesture that respects viewer intelligence while facilitating comprehension of layered engineering achievement. The overall design language suggests dialogue with broader contemporary design movements emphasizing material honesty, functional transparency, and geometric reduction, yet avoids austere severity through the warming presence of accent illumination and the organic punctuation of the connecting cable's gentle arc, these humanizing gestures tempering technological rationalism with accessibility and approachability. What contemplative questions might this compact power hub raise regarding our relationship with the proliferation of electronic devices requiring constant energy replenishment, and how might thoughtful design of charging infrastructure contribute to more intentional and less cluttered technological ecosystems within our living and working spaces?

Production Technology
The product adopts a modular structural design, with the housing made from flame-retardant engineering materials to meet safety and certification requirements for power products. Internally, clear structural zoning effectively isolates high voltage AC modules, low voltage output modules, and wireless charging components, enhancing overall safety and operational stability. The surface finish combines injection molding with refined surface treatments, ensuring mass production feasibility while improving durability and perceived quality.
Design Challenge
This desktop power hub integrates wired, wireless, and retractable charging solutions into a single compact system, aiming to improve desktop organization and charging efficiency by reducing exposed cables and plug-in interference. Designed based on real desktop usage scenarios, the addition of a silicone suction base allows the device to remain stable and orderly even during frequent multi-device use, reflecting a deep understanding of everyday power needs.
The primary challenge was balancing multi-interface integration, high power output, safety compliance, and heat dissipation within a limited volume. The combination of multiple interfaces and high-power modules significantly increased internal structural complexity and imposed higher demands on thermal management and electrical isolation. To address this, the design employs functional zoning, layered layouts, and coordinated optimization of structure and materials. Through multiple prototype iterations and continuous internal space adjustments, the final design achieves a well-balanced solution in terms of compactness, performance, and reliability.
Project Duration
The project will commence in June 2025 and be completed in December 2025.
Operation Flow
The power hub supports simultaneous charging of multiple devices. Users can simply connect laptops, tablets, or smartphones via AC outlets, USB ports, the retractable cable, or the wireless charging area to start charging immediately. The built in retractable cable extends and retracts according to usage distance, reducing cable clutter, while the silicone suction base stabilizes the device during frequent plug in and unplug operations, preventing slipping or tipping. The interaction is designed around high frequency desktop use scenarios, ensuring a stable, intuitive, and well organized multi-device charging experience.
Research
We found that charging the device on the desktop is a very troublesome task. Because there are many devices that need charging, the power cords and charging cables will be very messy. If wireless charging is required, a large number of devices will also be needed. By conducting research on charging devices, we have developed a product that solves the problem of charging on the desktop.
Inspiration
Modern users rely on laptops, phones, tablets, and accessories throughout the day.Charging needs shift between desk, bedside, and living spaces.Traditional chargers are fixed, cluttered, and context limited. So,one user. Multiple devices. Constantly changing spaces.
