About Desire Chair
Desire is a chair which have the purpose to increase your passion and lust with its smooth shape and soft color. It is not for people looking for relax, its a chair for naughty people searching for pleasure for all senses. The original idea was inspired by the shape of a tear, but during the modeling it was distorted in order to receive this gentle and graceful figure, to provoke a feeling of wanting to be touched, to be used, to be your possession.

What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
The original idea was inspired by the shape of a tear, but during the modeling the shape was changed.
What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
A chair with smooth shape, nice color, to bring pleasure for all senses.
What are your future plans for this award winning design?
I will be very happy to see this project alive, hope that there will be a manufacturer who will be interested in producing it.

Your innovative approach to the Desire Chair's form, evolving from a tear droplet to a more sensual silhouette, is particularly intriguing - could you elaborate on this transformation process and how it aligned with your vision of creating furniture that evokes emotion?
Tear droplet sliding down on a car windshield was the starting point of this interesting journey of creating the chair. Fuhrer shape experiments and metamorphosis made the whole process more like a pleasant game.
The Desire Chair challenges traditional notions of seating comfort by prioritizing passion and sensory engagement - what inspired you to create a chair that specifically caters to what you describe as "naughty people searching for pleasure for all senses"?
Well, it sounds a bit weird, i know, but by pleasure for all senses i meant not just to be comfy for the body but also for the eyes.
Your Bronze A' Design Award-winning Desire Chair showcases an intriguing balance between ergonomics and provocative design - could you share the specific challenges you encountered when merging these seemingly contradictory elements?
Ergonomics is alway the leading requirement because if it's not comfortable then its useless. The big challenge here was to find the balance between unusual shape and convenience.

- Unique Properties
- Every creation is unique, every thought and vision in designer's head is unique and the ability to show this to the world ... i cannot describe it. I do not claim that my design wil change the world, it is just a chair, but if i can make someone feel joy of seeing and using it i will be happy :-)

- When i close my eyes i see the chair made of solid shiny plastic, but maybe it could be manufactured using patent leather and soft material inside

- The hardest part was the balance between design and ergonomics.

- The original idea was to create a 'liquified' form similar to a tear, later i decided to change the shape in order to be more comfortable

The original color which will be dedicated to this product is pink, but variations are possible

- Project started january 2013 and finished march 2013 but i think it could be more optimized
