About Nest Commercial Interior

The floor is shared by two unique professionals- advocates and architects that calls for varied hierarchical orders. Choice and detailing of elements was an endeavor to keep the overall look grounded, earthy and to revive the local artistry and building materials. The blend and application of eco-friendly materials, size of openings, all have been driven by recalling the local climate to make an agreeable environment re-arousing the lost practices together structuring sustainable practice.

Neogenesis+Studi0261's Nest Commercial Interior represents a distinguished achievement in contemporary spatial design, demonstrating sophisticated integration of biophilic principles with refined material sensibilities that speak to evolving understandings of workplace wellness and human-centered environments. The installation reveals careful attention to the phenomenology of inhabitation, employing a sweeping curvilinear wooden lattice that simultaneously defines territorial boundaries while maintaining visual and atmospheric permeability throughout interconnected zones. This architectural gesture, executed in warm teak with evident craft quality, recalls vernacular building traditions while achieving thoroughly contemporary spatial effects, suggesting the designers' nuanced engagement with regional material cultures and climatic responsiveness. The chromatic orchestration demonstrates particular accomplishment, balancing the golden warmth of natural wood against the cool sophistication of charcoal and deep green leather furnishings, while polished concrete flooring provides neutral grounding that allows these primary material voices to resonate clearly. Strategic placement of indoor plantings introduces biological presence that softens geometric precision, contributing to an atmosphere of cultivated vitality appropriate for sustained intellectual engagement. The seating arrangements, featuring generously proportioned pieces with button-tufted detailing, reference mid-century design heritage while serving contemporary comfort expectations, their substantial forms creating inviting anchors within the flowing spatial sequence. Lighting conditions appear carefully calibrated, with abundant natural illumination supplemented by copper-accented fixtures that maintain visual warmth during varying diurnal conditions. The composition invites consideration of how material choices communicate organizational values, how spatial boundaries can define without confining, and how the integration of natural elements might support human flourishing within commercial contexts, visitors may find themselves contemplating how such environments shape the quality of time spent within them.

Production Technology
The passage clears into regular Kota stone foyer with interiorscaping to make a natural, good environment while adding aesthetics to the space. The space is featured with bigger opening made by expelling north east wall and combined with perforated GI sliding screens for security and vision. The palette consists of terrazzo flooring, lime plastered walls which provides thermal comfort, reclaimed wood and plants around.
Project Duration
The project finished in 2018 in Surat.
Inspiration
The core idea focused on creating a “feel at home” experience since workplace is that single space where we tend to spend more hours than we do in our homes.
The spaces envisaged were both singular and diverse, connected yet separated synchronously to allow the simplicity and diversity to co-exist.
A Nordic style and fading detailing techniques were embraced subsequently mixing contemporary and local design.
