About Moisture Humidifiseerder
Boekteks: Moisture is 'n humidifiseerder wat veranderinge in lugvoggigheid sigbaar maak. Die buitenste liggaam kombineer twee waterabsorberende materiale, marmer en wit sement. Wanneer die humidifiseerder aangeskakel word, week fyn druppeltjies van die waterdamp in die marmerblad in en laat merke op die oppervlak daarvan. Water wat tydens die vul gemors word, word deur die wit sementbasis geabsorbeer. Die twee materiale verskil in kleur en tekstuur, en bied dus kontrasterende visuele en tastbare eienskappe. Die eenheid meet 180 by 180 by 110 millimeter.

- Unique Properties
- This humidifier is innovatively designed with two types of water absorbent materials for its exterior-water absorbent marble and white cement. When turning on the humidifier, the small water droplets generated by water vapor will infiltrate the marble and leave marks on it. And the accidentally spilled water will be absorbed by the white cement base. Users can intuitively feel the change of environment humidity by observing the moisture degree from its surface.
This humidifier presents a more intuitive way to show subtle humidity changes in the environment. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- The first is the appearance, I think it should be like a receptacle as possible, and should be absorbent, so that moisture naturally adsorbed to the above, so as to achieve the effect I want. Thus I chose this marble, stone and found processing plants, characteristics of various materials I'm interested, I think that the contrast between white cement and this stone is particularly good, it is possible to achieve visual effects simple atmosphere, It also meets the complex tactile feel and practicality I want.
- Design Challenge
- It is hard to start.Color selection of natural materials.Hardness of cement.Surface roughness.
- Research
- Since the idea came out, I screened the material many times, after countless drawings, finally selected this shape, and then adjusted the modelling several times. After several experiments, this work was finally completed.
- Inspiration
- In the past, humidifiers stored water as much as possible. I was thinking, why not show the water vapor so that people can more intuitively feel that the space they are in is actually getting humid?
- Project Duration
- The project started in guangzhou in November 2019 and was completed in guangzhou in January 2020. It was originally scheduled to be exhibited at the guangzhou academy of fine arts in March 2020.
- Operation Flow
- Step 1:
After getting the product, put the liner into the cement base.
Step 2:
Fill the liner with water.
Step 3:
After filling the water, press the power switch.
Step 4:
Place the marble top on the base,then the steam curled out.
As a result of marble itself absorb water characteristic, in use process marble dome is wet gradually, moisture wets whole surface slowly. - Image Credits
