Oor Buddha Said Illustrasiereeks

Boeddha Het Gesê is 'n reeks illustrasies gebaseer op die Dunhuang-fresko's. Vyf klassieke verhale uit die fresko's is gekies en vir hierdie reeks herteken. Die karakters van elke verhaal is verfyn en met die tonele in 'n moderne grafiese styl gekombineer. Kleure wat uit die Dunhuang-mure geput is, verleen aan die beelde 'n grootse en geheimsinnige atmosfeer. Die illustrasies is met vektor-ontwerpsagteware geskep en in hoë resolusie gedruk op 800 by 800 millimeter. Die doel is om tradisie met moderne ontwerp te verbind en hierdie muurverhale aan 'n breër gehoor bekend te stel.

This design redesigns and creates Buddhist stories in Dunhuang frescoes, so that these classic frescoes are well known by more people, and the art of Dunhuang frescoes is pushed to the public and the world.
