About Stoniture Sofa
Stoniture is 'n sofa geïnspireer deur die vorm van natuurlike klip. Die ontwerp het 'n geronde rand en 'n breë steunoppervlak om 'n gemaklike en ontspanne sitposisie te bied. Die sitplekskuim pas effens aan onder gewig, sodat die sitoppervlak die liggaam volg. Die raamstruktuur is van hout gemaak, en die sitplek bevat skuim met 'n digtheid van 30. Die sofa meet 110 by 95 by 50 sentimeter. Die eenvoudige vorm is bedoel om die eenvoud van natuurlike klip te weerspieël en 'n gevoel van vertroudheid te skep. - Unique Properties
- The furniture piece is designed with a curved edge and a proper support surface to provide a comfortable and relaxing position. The seat foam adjusts slightly when sitting, ensuring a comfortable experience for the user. The simple design of the furniture piece is meant to reflect the simplicity and beauty of natural stone.

The main challenge in designing the project was to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing design that captures the essence of the designer's inspiration while also meeting the practical needs of users.

- For designing this project, the designer do research about the properties and characteristics of natural stone and how to translate those into a functional piece of furniture. Also, he did research about different materials and production methods to ensure that the furniture piece is durable and can withstand regular use.

- The designer drew inspiration from natural stone, one of the most primitive elements of nature, to create a sense of familiarity and trust at an intuitive level. The designer aimed to evoke the feeling of being surrounded by nature, where the user feels like a stone around which water flows.
