About Breathing Apple Kunsmeubel-installasie

Breathing Apple is 'n kunsinstallasie wat ook as 'n stoel dien. Die vorm behou die buitelyn van 'n appel, met onreëlmatige induikings wat 'n liggaam suggereer wat deur druk hervorm is. Die induiking en herstel van die oppervlak druk die idee van asemhaling en innerlike herlewing uit. Die stuk is met die hand gestik uit leerafval wat deur fabrieke weggegooi is. Natuurlike kleurvariasies, sigbare stiklyne en ongesnyde rande skep 'n warm en tasbare tekstuur. Ergonomie rig die kurwes, sodat die werk as uitstalkuns vertoon of as alledaagse sitplek gebruik kan word.

Unique Properties: Breathing Apple is a unique piece that blends art installation with functional furniture. The piece focuses on the concept of breathing, using its shape of indentation and recovery to symbolize the inner revival of the individual. It reflects a philosophical idea of striving for completeness within imperfection. The Breathing Apple can be used as a piece of display art as well as an everyday chair. Project Duration: This product was designed on 2022/11/1 and completed with final design in 2024
Operation Flow: Each piece of leather in the Breathing Apple is carefully selected, paired, and sewn together by the designer, reflecting the craft and warmth of the maker. The result is a tactile fruit of life with beautiful curves and textures that invite touch. The design avoids mechanical cutting, leaving the leather’s natural edges intact, highlighting the idea that imperfections are what make it unique.
