About Folds Vou-bare Bergingsrak

Unique Properties
Inspired by origami art, it focuses on the design concept of changing processes within the same module. Starting from the flat packaging of origami structure, the modular components are adjusted through the production process to transform into various forms such as desktop storage boxes, wall shelves, and edge shelves. Adapt to the storage needs of multiple scenarios with the fewest component types, integrating the efficient logic and practical functions of origami space.

Production Technology
The material is a metal sheet and supports flat packaging. The gradient effect is achieved through the spray painting process, and the surface texture is endowed by heat transfer printing. The durability of the metal is suitable for various scenarios, and the lively visual effect is created by the color process.
Design Challenge
Origami flexibly folds and transforms into a stable product structure, taking into account both configurability and durability. Balance the functional requirements of multiple scenarios in modular design. Through repeated material tests, structural simulations, and optimization of component connections and folding angles, a product that combines the aesthetic appeal of origami with practical storage is ultimately achieved.
Research
This project explores the application of origami concepts in the design of storage products, studies the generation logic of origami forms, and develops modular components with folding adaptability. Through user scenario analysis, verify the multi-scenario applicability.
Inspiration
In origami art, a sheet of paper, after being folded, takes on various three dimensional forms. When it comes to product design, using modular components as paper, through simple process adjustments, various shapes can be transformed, generating storage items suitable for multiple scenarios.
Project Duration
The project started in Shenzhen in February 2024 and was completed in Shenzhen in June 2024.
Operation Flow
Users can choose to place it on the desktop or hang it on the wall as needed. Assemble the flat packaging components as per the instructions; When in use, items can be conveniently placed in the corresponding compartments, and the open structure facilitates quick access. The decorative appearance interacts with the space and becomes a visual highlight.
