About The Board ስኬትቦርድ
ዘ ቦርድ ለቀላል መጓጓዣ እና ማከማቻ ተብሎ የተነደፈ የሚታጠፍ ስኬትቦርድ ነው። ዴኩ ከ57 እርስ በርስ ከሚያያዙ የሚዞሩ ማጠፊያዎች የተሰራ ነው። ማጠፊያዎቹን ወደ አንዱ ወይም ወደ ሌላው አቅጣጫ በማጠፍ፣ ክላሲክ የክሩዘር ቅርጽ ወደ ፍጹም ክብ ይለወጣል። በክብ ቅርጹ፣ ዘ ቦርድ በጀርባ ቦርሳ ውስጥ ይገባል እንዲሁም በጠባብ ቦታዎች ሊቀመጥ ወይም በቤት ውስጥ እንደ ጌጣጌጥ ዕቃ ሊታይ ይችላል። በግንባታው ውስጥ አሉሚኒየም፣ ብረት እና ፕላስቲክ ጥቅም ላይ ውለዋል። የመለወጥ ሂደቱ ለንድፉ ግልጽ የሆነ የእይታ ማራኪነት ይሰጠዋል።

- The skateboard is limited by its appearance and it is inconvenient for users to carry.
The Board has a strong visual appeal of its transforming process. The structure makes it a completed circle which can be put in a backpack easily. Because of the circular appearance, it can be part of decorations at home or even place in the narrow space. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Biggest challenges was manufacturing its complex dynamic structure and is considering open-sourcing the design as a DIY kit for 3D printers.
- Research
- Transformation is not just the change in appearance, but also the consideration of factors such as space, time, and circumstance to strengthen the purpose of transformation and the psychological level. In today’s product design, in order to make transformable products satisfy the users’ need, the designers usually introduce the transformable features to make them easy to carry and multifunctional simultaneously.
- Inspiration
- Most of the users have the stereotype in the usage of the products. If we get rid of the general form changing, there will be a different scenario for the users. The form changing process gives the users visual feeling and the intensity of it will be different depend on the various structures.
- Project Duration
- The design start in 2018 finish in 2019 July.
- Operation Flow
- The skateboard is made from 57 interlocking pivot hinges, by folding the hinges one direction or the other, transforming the classic cruiser shape into a perfect circle. Easy to fit in smaller places and even used for decoration.
