ስለ Beyond የእጅ መስተዋት

Beyond ከመኪና የጎን መስተዋት (wing mirror) ተነሳሽነትን ያገኘ የእጅ መስተዋት ነው። የጎን መስተዋት ሹፌር ከመደበኛ እይታ ውጪ ያሉ ቦታዎችን እንዲያይ ይረዳል፣ Beyond ደግሞ "አንተ/አንቺ ከምትታየው በላይ ነህ/ነሽ" የሚለውን ሐረግ በመስተዋቱ ላይ ይዞ ይታያል። ይህ ሐረግ ሰዎች ከውጫዊ መልካቸው ባሻገር ያለውን ውስጣዊ ውበታቸውን እንዲያስቡ ይጋብዛል። አካሉ በሳሙና ፍጻሜ (soap finish) የተጠናቀቀ የአመድ እንጨት (ash wood) ሲሆን፣ መስተዋቱ በሌዘር ተቆርጦ የተቀረጸና ጽሑፍ የተጻፈበት አክሪሊክ ሉህ ነው። ክብ ቅርጽ ያለው ጀርባው በእጅ ሲያዙት ለስላሳ ስሜት ይሰጣል፣ መስተዋቱም ፊት ለፊት ተደፍቶ ሲቀመጥ ጥበቃ እንዲኖረው በእንጨቱ ክፈፍ ውስጥ ትንሽ ገብቶ ተቀምጧል።

Beyond የእጅ መስተዋት የA' Design Award የብረት ሽልማት አሸናፊ ነው፤ ይህም በጥሩ ሁኔታ ከተነደፉ ፈጠራዎች የሚጠበቁትን ሙያዊና ኢንዱስትሪያዊ መስፈርቶች ለሚያሟሉ ጥሩ ዲዛይኖች የሚሰጥ ከፍተኛ ክብር ያለው እውቅና ነው። የብረት አሸናፊዎች የፈጣሪዎቻቸውን ታላቅ ችሎታ፣ ከፍተኛ ልዩ ሙያ፣ የባለሙያ ግንዛቤ እና የፈጠራ አቅም ያሳያሉ። Beyond የእጅ መስተዋት ከፍ ያለ ግምት የሚሰጠው፣ የሚደነቅና የሚወደድ፣ ተግባራዊና ፈጠራ የተሞላበት ሥራ እንደሚሆን ይጠበቃል። ይህ የA' Design Award የብረት ሽልማትን ያሸነፈ ዲዛይን የኢንዱስትሪ ምርጥ ልምዶችን ያዋህዳል፤ ከእውቀትና ከተሰጥኦ ጋር የተሳሰሩ ብቁ ቴክኒካዊ ባህሪያትም አሉት። Beyond የእጅ መስተዋት በጥልቅነቱ የተከበረ ሲሆን ዓለምን የተሻለ ቦታ ለማድረግ የሚረዱ የሕይወት ጥራት ማሻሻያዎችን ለማቅረብ የተነደፈ ነው።

ክሬዲቶች፣ የቡድን አባላት እና ቴክኒካል ዝርዝሮች በዲዛይነሩ የተሰጡ።

ልዩ ባህሪያት: It is a hand mirror inspired by a wing mirror. Like a phrase on the wing mirror 'Objects in mirror are closer than they appear', a phrase 'You are more than you appear' is marked on the surface of the mirror. It takes people to think about their own beauty inside beyond their appearance. With a generous volume shape on the back, it gives a gentle feeling when they are in hand. The mirror is placed slightly inside so it is protected by a wood rim when it is turned over.

የማምረቻ ቴክኖሎጂ: It consists of two parts. The wood part is ashwood with a soap finish and the mirror part is an acrylic mirror with laser cutting and text marking.
የዲዛይን ተግዳሮት: It was challenging to create a simple and concise phrase transition from the original one while keeping its essence. It also took a long journey to find a satisfactory volume shape in both situations when gripped by hand and placed on the table. After all, those challenges allowed me to go further than I expected.
ምርምር: As this hand mirror is linked to the wing mirror of the car, I tried to find the most general characteristic of the wing mirror. Afterward, the shape was refined through the iteration of sketches and model making.
መነሳሻ: One time I got into a car, a wing mirror caught my eye. It helps the driver to see areas beyond the driver’s peripheral vision. I wondered what if a hand mirror also can reflect beyond our appearance.
የፕሮጀክት ጊዜ: The project started in July 2020 and finished in January 2021 in Seoul.
የሥራ ሂደት: The ash wood gives natural warmth and lightweight on hand with shock resisting density and hardness.
