ሪባን ለከተማ አደባባዮች፣ ለማህበረሰብ ስፍራዎች እና ለእግረኛ መንገዶች በመሳሰሉ የህዝብ ቦታዎች የተነደፈ የመንገድ ወንበር ነው። አምስት የተለመዱ የማረፊያ አቀማመጦች፣ ማለትም ተጠቅልሎ መቀመጥ፣ ጠልቆ መቀመጥ፣ ቀጥ ብሎ መቀመጥ፣ ወደኋላ ተደግፎ መቀመጥ እና ተዘርግቶ ማረፍ፣ ተጠንተው ወደ ገፅታ ኩርባዎች ቀለል ተደርገዋል። በአምስቱ ኩርባዎች መካከል ያለው ለስላሳ ሽግግር አንድ ነጠላ የተጠማዘዘ ቅርፅ ይፈጥራል። ወንበሩ ከፕላይዉድ ፍሬሞች የተሰራ ሲሆን፣ እያንዳንዱ ፍሬም 35 ሚሊሜትር ስፋት ያለው ሲሆን በ50 ሚሊሜትር ርቀት የተለያዩ ናቸው፤ እነዚህም በክር በተሰራ የብረት ዘንጎች፣ ናት እና የእንጨት መለያያዎች ተያይዘዋል። ይህ ስሌቲድ አወቃቀር የውሃ ፍሳሽን የሚያስተናግድ ሲሆን ለውስጥም ሆነ ለውጭ ስፍራዎች ተስማሚ ያደርገዋል።

- Five postures are studied and used to shape the bench’s profile curves. This design approach ensures the bench accommodates these postures, offering a more comfortable resting experience. Additionally, this bench not only adds aesthetic value as an urban sculpture but also blends well with street side planter.

- Individual wood frame pieces are connected by steel rods through pre-drilled holes, rods can be covered by wooden spacers; each wood piece is fasten by threaded rods and nuts.

- The seamless transition between the profile curves blend their differences into a singular form. The slatted design addresses drainage issues, making the bench applicable for both indoor and outdoor settings.

- Through observation and sketching, five common resting postures were identified: tucked-in, deep, straight-up, lean back, and lounging. Simplified curves representing these postures were used to shape the bench's profile, creating a smooth, unified design. The wooden slats offer a dual visual effect—semi-transparent when viewed from the front and appearing to be smooth and uniformly patterned, giving it a tactile and visually rhythmic quality when looking from the side.

- Ribbon draws inspiration from body posture and curves when people rest naturally. The bench is crafted based on five common outdoor resting postures. The design simplifies the interface between body and furniture to create the bench’s profile curves, using smooth transitions between these five profile curves to create a meandering, comfortable street bench.
