ከድንጋይ ተፈጥሯዊ ቅርጽ በመነሳት፣ ይህ መብራት ውስጣዊ ዘይቤው ጥንታዊም ሆነ ዘመናዊ ይሁን በማንኛውም ቤት ውስጥ ያለ ችግር እንዲገጥም ተደርጎ ተነድፏል። ኮኒካዊ ድጋፉና ጋሻው በትክክል እርስ በርስ ይተሳሰራሉ፣ የተረጋጋና በእይታ ንጹህ የሆነ ቅርጽ ይፈጥራሉ። ድጋፉ ለተጨማሪ መረጋጋት ከመሠረቱ ላይ ይሰፋል። ክብ የሆነ GX53 LED መብራት በመጠቀም፣ ዘይቤውን ሳይጎዳ ውጤታማ እና ተመጣጣኝ ብርሃን ይሰጣል። ከተመላሽ R-Polycarbonate የተሰራ በመሆኑ፣ መብራቱ ዘላቂም ጠንካራም ነው። ጊዜ የማይሽረው ንድፉ ለረጅም ጊዜ የሚዘልቅ ደስታን ያረጋግጣል፣ ይህም ለማንኛውም ቦታ ዘላቂና ለአካባቢ ተስማሚ ጭማሪ ያደርገዋል።

Unique Properties: Inspired by the natural form of a boulder, this lamp features interlocking conical shapes for stability and a clean look. Made from recycled R-Polycarbonate using injection molding, it combines sustainability with timeless design. The lamp suits classic and modern interiors, uses an efficient GX53 LED, and is crafted to last for generations.
Dimensions & Packaging: 240 mm width x 140 mm depth x 300 mm height
The lamp features a seamless interlocking conical support and shade, injection-molded from recycled R-Polycarbonate for strength and sustainability. It uses a round GX53 dimmable LED light source, 220 V, chosen for efficient, even light distribution and compatibility with the shade’s dimensions.

Production Technology: The lamp is made from recycled polycarbonate (R-Polycarbonate) using injection molding. This process enables precise, complex shapes and ensures strength, thermal, and dimensional stability. The use of R-Polycarbonate makes the design sustainable and recyclable, aligning with modern demands for eco-friendly materials.
Design Challenge: The creative challenge was to transform an original sculptural design conceived as both a ceramic lighting object and a sculpture into a more efficient production process and material, without losing its sculptural identity. An additional challenge was finding a light source that fit the design language and ensured stability. The solution was to sculpt the form so that function determines shape.
Research: At the start, we aimed to create the lamp in ceramic, a regional and circular material. However, prototypes showed inconsistent dimensions, making precise assembly difficult. Mounting also required non-eco-friendly glue. We shifted to injection-molded, recycled polycarbonate, material that is durable, circular, strong, and glossy. This allowed for hidden screw assembly, enabling easy, sustainable disassembly and full recyclability at the end of its life.
Inspiration: The inspiration for this design comes from the natural form of a boulder, which guided the creation of a functional and aesthetically pleasing lamp. The organic shape inspired the seamless connection between the support and shade, resulting in a balanced, stable, and timeless design that harmonizes with various interiors and emphasizes sustainability.
Project Duration: Design work began in mid 2024 in Ghent, Belgium. Despite the short time between the first sketches and the final design in early 2025, there was no time pressure. This allowed the design to evolve naturally during this period, resulting in a strong and desired outcome.
Operation Flow: This lamp is easily assembled by sliding the conical base and shade together, ensuring a secure fit. The stable, widening base provides balance, while the recycled polycarbonate keeps it lightweight yet robust. The GX53 LED lamp delivers warm, dimmable light, operated by a cord dimmer. Its sculptural form adds value to any interior, even when not in use.
