ፑንቶ ለዕለታዊ በሮች የተነደፈ የበር እጀታ ነው። የፑንቶ ቅርጽ ከታሪካዊ እጀታዎችና ከቅርጻቸው ላይ ከተደረገ ጥናት የመጣ ነው። መጠኖቹ ከአንድ ወደ ሁለት ቋሚ ጥምርታ የሚከተሉ ሲሆኑ፣ ይህ ግንኙነት ሁሉንም የእጀታውን ጂኦሜትሪዎች ያገናኛል። ፑንቶ 150 በ60 በ50 ሚሊሜትር ይለካል። እጀታው በአልሙኒየም ወይም በናስ ውስጥ በዳይ ካስቲንግ ይሠራል። የአልሙኒየም ስሪቶች በዱቄት ተለብጠዋል፣ የናስ ስሪቶች ደግሞ ፑልሽ ወይም ክሮም ተደርገዋል። ቀላል የተደረገው ቅርጽ ተጠቃሚው በሩ እንዴት እንደሚከፈት ወዲያውኑ እንዲረዳ ይረዳዋል።
