About Xi Space بيت شاي

"شي سبيس" هو بيت شاي يقع في نينغبو بالصين، وتبلغ مساحته 110 أمتار مربعة. يجمع التصميم الداخلي بين غرفة شاي ومنطقة عمل وحيّز عرض لمجموعة خاصة من أدوات الشاي وأعمال الخط والرسم. وتشكّل الطوب والخشب والرخام واللوحات الفنية الأساس المادي الرئيسي للمشروع. ويمنح التخطيط طقس الشاي اليومي إطارًا هادئًا ومنظمًا. ويعبّر التصميم عن الاعتقاد بأن الأشياء الجميلة تُنعش الذهن، وأن جمع المقتنيات هو فعل عناية بالأشياء لا سعي وراء الثروة. وقد خُصص هذا الحيّز للراحة والعمل والمشاركة مع الأصدقاء.

Unique Properties: Xi-Suo is a design based on interest and following designer's heart. It is also an expression of the designer's lifestyle and attitude, here integrates tearoom, space, branding, collection.... These are the most normal things and objects in his life and work, synchronized with his inner spiritual aspirations.

Design Challenge: How to incorporate the sense of ritual into the daily space, both to display collections, and to express the spiritual ideas.
Research: Designing a small nice place to relax, to work, to write, to share what he likes with friends. As Hidako Koyama says "To refresh mind with beautiful things."
Inspiration: Mihoko Koyama is a Japanese collector and owner of the Miho Museum. She says "Cultivating the concept of beauty can enhance the quality of the mind." She believes that beauty can cultivate noble human emotions, enrich experience and change their lives.
As a designer, he came back from the Miho Museum with an idea: is it possible to make his own collection space, not as big as a museum, but can put his favorite tea ware, calligraphy and painting collection there.
Project Duration: Time: 2018.1 - 2018.5
Location: No.46, Yueming road, Yinzhou district, Ningbo
Operation Flow: Step 1: the preliminary planning and design of space plane;
Step 2: draw the detailed space design scheme;;
Step 3: the owner confirms the overall design scheme;
Step 4: draw construction drawings and confirm the list of building materials and furniture;
Step 5: deliver the construction drawings.
Step 6: supervise the construction process until it is finished.
