About Yimu Fount جهاز تنقية المياه المثبت على الصنبور
"Yimu Fount" هو جهاز لتنقية المياه يُركَّب على الصنبور ويقوم باختبار مياه الشرب وترشيحها. يُثبَّت الجهاز مباشرةً على صنبور المياه، حيث تُقاس المياه بواسطة وحدة مراقبة، ثم تمر عبر مرشِّح مركَّب مصنوع من ألياف الكربون المنشَّط وألياف التبادل الأيوني، ثم تُقاس مجدداً لمقارنة النتائج. وتسجِّل مستشعرات الموائع الدقيقة ومقياس الطيف الضوئي المصغَّر معايير جودة المياه في الزمن الفعلي. وتُظهر أربعة مؤشرات ضوئية LED ملوَّنة جودة المياه الحالية، بينما يعرض تطبيق مرتبط بالجهاز التغيّرات قبل الترشيح وبعده.

- A home water monitoring device that tests and filters water. It has three significant over its competitors: 1. real-time monitoring of critical water quality parameters using microfluidic and mini-spectrophotometry sensor technology and analysis algorithms; 2. a high-efficiency compound filter using Activated Carbon Fiber and Ion Exchange Fiber; 3. - Design Challenge
- The FIRST Device that tests water quality each time you drink and providing filtered water in real-time. A LED indicator lights will designate the testing results and users can download our Ecomo APP to get access to many personalized functions. Ecomo Fount can accurately test for many different water quality parameters.
- Research
- It includes the world's smallest micro-fluidics and spectral sensors to provide real-time water quality data. The integrated design perfectly combines the monitoring cavity, operation control panel, and display panel of the equipment, which is more convenient for users to operate. There is no need to carry additional equipment accessories during operation, making outdoor detection more convenient.
- Inspiration
- With the increasingly severe water pollution, people pay more and more attention to drinking water safety. However, it is not easy to distinguish the actual filtering effect because of the mixed water purification equipment on the market. So we hope to realize an intelligent water purifier with a smart control system to ensure drinking water's safety and visually present the filtering effect.
- Project Duration
- The project started in December 2014 in Washington D.C. and finished in May 2016.
- Operation Flow
- Install the equipment directly to the faucet, water flow into the equipment from the tap and test the water for the first time by the water quality monitoring module, and then flow into the filter element for filtering. The filtered water enters the monitoring module again to compare the filtering effect, so as to ensure that the filtered water meets the reference standard.
