"أورينت أوريجينال" هو مشروع تصميم داخلي سكني لمنزل تبلغ مساحته 500 متر مربع في بكين، الصين. ويشكّل فناء داخلي تحت الأرض تغمره أشعة الشمس مركزَ المخطط، إذ يربط بين الطابقين السفليين ويُذيب الحدود الفاصلة بين ما هو فوق سطح الأرض وما هو تحته. ويمكن أن تُستخدم المنطقة الغائرة كغرفة شاي أو صالة استرخاء أو صالة سينما. ويعمل السقف الزجاجي وجدران الطوب الزجاجي والألواح المرآوية على زيادة الإضاءة الطبيعية وتوسيع الإحساس بالفضاء. وتلتقي قشرة الخشب الداكن بالخشب الفاتح والحجر الطبيعي، فيما تدعم قطع الأثاث ووحدات التخزين المصممة خصيصًا الحياة اليومية للأسرة واللقاءات الاجتماعية.

- A sunlit underground atrium is the project's highlight, blurring boundaries between above and below ground. The sunken area flexibly transforms into a tearoom, lounge, or cinema. Black tones anchor spatial strength, while warm timber softens contours. Light and shadow act as the language of space, balancing order and freedom for everyday living.
