"ظل الخشب" هو تصميم داخلي سكني لشقة تبلغ مساحتها 56.2 مترًا مربعًا في تايبيه. يعتمد التخطيط على مفهوم الفضاء المفتوح، مع جدران منحنية تربط جزيرة المطبخ بمنطقة المعيشة. تنتظم على الجدران شرائح رأسية إيقاعية من خشب البلوط الداكن المشغول خصيصًا، فتُلطّف الحدود المكانية. أما الأسطح فقد عولجت بطلاءات معدنية مطبّقة يدويًا بدرجات ذهبية هادئة، بينما فُرشت الأرضية بخشب البلوط بنمط الشيفرون. وتُسهم الخزائن المخفية ذات الفواصل الظلية بعرض 10 مليمترات والإضاءة غير المباشرة بمصابيح LED بدرجة حرارة لونية 3000 كلفن في الحفاظ على هدوء المسكن الصغير وخلوّه من الفوضى البصرية.
