About Solaris Çoxqatlı Divar Dekoru

Solaris yaşayış məkanları üçün hazırlanmış çoxqatlı divar dekorasiyasıdır. Dizayn Stanislaw Lemin romanında təsvir edilən uydurma planetdən və kainatda həyat axtarışına insanlığın verdiyi cavab ideyasından ilhamlanıb. Hər qat rəqəmsal şəkildə çəkilir, qayın şponlu MDF-dən lazerlə kəsilir, ayrı-ayrılıqda boyanır və sonra dərin taxta relyefə birləşdirilir. Narıncıdan tünd göy rəngə qədər dəyişən gün batımı tonları qatların ritmik ardıcıllığını izləyir. Cilalanmış iroko kürələri və iki ədəd 45 RPM vinil valı kompozisiyanı tamamlayır.

Additionally, this design incorporates retro-futuristic and space art elements, staying true to the concept that inspired it. The two 45 RPM records featured on the design also reference this idea. Production Technology
Our designs are first meticulously created in Adobe Illustrator, with each layer carefully drawn over several days. These layers are then laser-cut from veneered mdf panels. Each piece is individually painted using specialized paints, and once the paint has dried, all layers are assembled using adhesive, resulting in a refined and intricate final piece.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge I faced during the production of the design was converting the initial image of the design in my mind into a drawing accurately and sufficiently. Similarly, choosing the right combination of paints was another difficult aspect for me.
Research
The only research method I use is observation. The purpose of my observation is to experience life with a deeper understanding and to take my relationship with life to a different level by stepping out of my comfort zone. For my research, I travel extensively and methodically read and watch cult films and books. The main goal of my research is to see what art and people can offer in my journey to understand life more profoundly. As a result, I strive to create a design that fully reflects the emotion I have experienced.
Inspiration
*Solaris* is inspired by the idea of the Voyager spacecraft, launched by Nasa in 1977 with records carrying human recordings in hopes of reaching extraterrestrial life, reaching the fictional planet Solaris from Stanisław Lem's novel, adapted into film by Andrei Tarkovsky, and receiving a response from Solaris to Earth, reminiscent of an iconic sunset. The design is created in a rhythmic sequence to symbolize Solaris' structure, which controls human minds.
Project Duration
I started the creation of this design in July 2024 and completed it in October 2024.
Operation Flow
Our design has a visually striking complexity, thanks to layers that follow each other in rhythm. It stands out as an eye-catching piece in any living space.
