- Folk paintings are traditional Korean paintings.
In the old days, Korean people used to paint on the Korean paper with brushes, but modern people draw with computers.
Graphic folk paintings are drawn using a tool called a computer.
This project is a meeting between the past and the future, a combination of tradition and technology. - Inspiration
- This design painted a tiger looking at the moonlight under a pine tree. Tigers are active at night. When a tiger appears, all the animals run away. So there are no friends around the tiger. Tigers are lonely animals. The tiger's only friend is the moon.
In ancient Korea, tigers were the guardian deities of mountains. The tiger is a subject that appears frequently in folk paintings. This painting is a friendly drawing of a sacred animal. - Project Duration
