এক্স ট্রান্সপোর্ট হলো অ্যান্টার্কটিক গবেষণা কেন্দ্রগুলোর জন্য পরিকল্পিত একটি ধারণাগত কার্গো পরিবহন যান। এর ডিজাইনটি পেঙ্গুইন থেকে অনুপ্রাণিত, যারা বরফ ও তুষারের উপর দ্রুত চলাচল করতে নিজেদের পেটে ভর দিয়ে পিছলে যায়। খোলসটি ধাতু দিয়ে তৈরি, এবং নিচের দুটি স্কি উচ্চ-শক্তির কার্বন ফাইবার দিয়ে নির্মিত। উপরের ও পেছনের প্রপালশন ইউনিটগুলো গতি ও দিক নিয়ন্ত্রণের জন্য ভেক্টর থ্রাস্ট প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করে। কার্গো কেবিনটি একটি X-আকৃতির কাঠামো দ্বারা ধরে রাখা হয়, যা অভিকর্ষ কেন্দ্র সমন্বয় করতে উপরে-নিচে ওঠানো-নামানো যায়। এর লক্ষ্য হলো আরও দ্রুত রসদ সরবরাহ করা।
