About Existence Stolica

Existence je stolica dizajnirana za razmišljanje. Stolica se tretira kao arhitektonski element koji definiše ivicu i ostavlja prostor da ga um ispuni. Izrađena su dva prototipa od nehrđajućeg čelika. Sjedenje na Existence zahtijeva pažnju i mišićni napor, pa stolica ograničava fizičku udobnost kako bi oslobodila um. Svaka stolica mjeri 1000 mm u širinu, 800 mm u dubinu i 600 mm u visinu. Prototipovi su oblikovani ručno, a različite tehnike su prilagođavane kako bi se postigla tačna preciznost.

Unique Properties: Existence chair is a chair for thinking, a piece of architecture defines the edge and leaves space for the mind to fill. There are a pair of prototypes made of stainless steel. The sitting experience requires attention and muscles to participate in. Limiting comfort sets the mind free.

Production Technology: The chair is made of stainless steel.
Design Challenge: Thinking about how to control the uncertainty of handmade, I have a strong passion for adjusting different techniques and getting the exact accuracy.
Research: Collecting Inspirations from myself, Starting with sketching, Making small scale mockups and deciding the design direction, Making real scale prototypes and adjusting design.
Inspiration: I think, therefore I am. Instead of designing a chair for physical comfort, I look for a chair reflecting me and the existence of my mind.
Project Duration: The project started in May 2019 in California and finished production in January 2021 in China.
Operation Flow: The Existence is to sit with people's attention and set their minds free.
