About Cloud Mountain Type Dizajn tipografije

Cloud Mountain Type je tipografija inspirisana oblacima i maglovitim planinama Zhang Jiajiea te drevnim kineskim pejzažnim slikarstvom. Oblici slova spajaju tradicionalne kineske prikaze oblaka i planina sa strukturom latiničnog alfabeta. Svaki znak je nacrtan rukom, a zatim doreden pomoću softvera za digitalnu obradu slike, te se tipografija može koristiti u različitim veličinama. Kada se posmatra izbliza, detalji preuzimaju prevlast i slovo postaje teško prepoznatljivo, baš kao što se oblik planine ne može sagledati s njenog vrha.

Combined the traditional Chinese clouds landscape with western character. The Chinese saying: You cannot recognize the shape of a mountain when you stand on it. When you stare at the details of the font, you even can’t recognize the letter itself, that is because you have already stand on the cloud-fog mountains.
