O dizajnu YumChina Innovation Center Primarna funkcija: Dizajn interijera inovacijskog centra
Tekst knjige: Yum China inovacijski centar predstavlja dizajn interijera od 2500 kvadratnih metara za objekat za istraživanje i razvoj hrane u Šangaju, Kina. Centar sadrži specijalizirane kuhinje, konferencijsku salu, prostor za dizajn ambalaže, kancelarije i predvorje. Svaka kuhinja je isplanirana za efikasan, higijenski i udoban rad. Namjenski sistemi za ventilaciju, vodu, struju i podatke podržavaju istraživačke aktivnosti. Površine od jasenovog drveta i drvenih kvrga u sivim i bijelim tonovima stvaraju toplu i mirnu atmosferu. Raspored je proučen kako bi se poboljšalo kretanje osoblja i posjetilaca.

- The Innovation Center is an optimization of the creative food experience. The design team carefully examined the food creation process and optimized the space to enhance the workflow and the movement of staff and visitors through the facility. The materials, colors and textures were selected to create an atmosphere that supports the sensory experience of new food creations.

- The Yum China Innovation Kitchen facility is tasked with
interpreting, developing and refining the many food products
offered by the Yum China family of restaurants. Everything from
the ingredients, to the look to the packaging are meticulously
considered at this facility. Therefore, all aspects of this facility
were also meticulously considered, refined and reconsidered to
create a workplace that nurtures the very important tasks of the
professionals that labor here creating the future of food. - Inspiracija

- The YumChina Innovation Center is at the heart of YumChina’s efforts to bring healthy diverse food choices to China. In highly specialized kitchens, foods are researched, developed and optimized. Each of the specialized kitchens has been designed to provide efficient, hygienic and thoughtful workspaces. Everything from materials, equipment and ergonomics was considered. Special HVAC, water, power and data systems were developed to fully support the Innovation Center activities. This cutting edge project resulted from the collaboration of the designers, contractors and food experts.
