About Gloria Anell, Braçalet

Gloria és una col·lecció de joieria que inclou un anell i un braçalet. El disseny s'inspira en l'halo, un anell lluminós que els artistes pinten al voltant del cap dels sants com a senyal de virtut. Les branques principals de l'anell i el cos del braçalet es modelen a mà a partir de filferro. Les pedres també es fan a mà amb materials naturals, sense colorants químics ni substàncies afegides, de manera que puguin tornar a la natura. Les peces es poden portar per separat o combinades, de manera que la forma i la funció es poden modificar. La intenció és expressar l'elevació de l'esperit humà en un objecte portable.

The stones in this collection are made out of unique, environment friendly and completely natural materials.

Production Technology: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
Design Challenge: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
Research: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
Inspiration: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
Project Duration: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
