Sobre Food in Nature Fotografia Culinària
Food in Nature és un projecte de fotografia culinària creat per a un restaurant de marisc a la ciutat de Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. La sèrie presenta els plats d'un nou menú de gastronomia refinada, i cada plat rep la seva pròpia composició i narrativa. El concepte vincula el menjar amb la natura mostrant flors fràgils que creixen entre pedres àrides, una escena que suggereix supervivència i creixement. S'emfatitzen els colors vibrants de les flors i les formes inusuals de les pedres. Es va utilitzar llum artificial per imitar la llum reflectida del mar i per expressar la frescor del marisc.

- Propietats Úniques
- FOOD IN NATURE is a food photography project created for Ngoc Suong Seafood & Bar, a modern seafood restaurant. The inspiration for this work is to feature the restaurant's new fine-dining menu. Each dish in the menu has its own story conveyed in different layouts.
- Dimensions i Embalatge
- Canon 5D Mark IV with 24-70mm Lens was used in this photoshoot. All photos were shot via CaptureOne and retouched in Adobe Photoshop.

- Artificial light was used in this photoshoot, creating the sparkling light reflecting from the sea to express the freshness of the seafood.

- The hardest part of this project is to find the perfect stones and flowers, as well as search and create appropriate lighting set-ups to convey the ideas the best.
- Recerca
- How food can be combined with elements of nature such as flowers and stones is the core of this project. Magazines and portfolio websites are the main sources to see how modern artists approach their artworks. All sketches were done thoroughly before shooting to make sure lighting, props, and layouts as perfect as possible. Stones and flowers were found in nature to enhance the feeling of Mother Nature.
- Inspiració
- The inspiration came from the idea of how food should connect closely to Mother Nature, by capturing the moment of fragile flowers growing from arid stones, which symbolizes survival. And the concentration is on the vibrant colors of the flowers and the unique shape of the stones gave.
- Durada del Projecte
- The photoshoot lasted for 12 hours in total, including 3 hours setting up different layouts and 9 hours shooting in September 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
- Flux d'Operació
- Those images are supposed to create engagement between the brand and its customers. Since trends in food photography and marketing are changing, the project gives a modern, natural, and contemporary touch to the restaurant’s new menu.
