About Snow Mountain Lounge Centre d'Experiència de Màrqueting

Snow Mountain Lounge és un centre d'experiència de màrqueting situat a Chengdu, Xina. L'interior compleix diverses funcions, incloent-hi una sala d'exposicions urbana, un centre de serveis governamentals i un centre d'art comunitari. L'espai es divideix en zones ben definides que s'adapten a diferents necessitats. Una instal·lació central anomenada Aurora Polaris s'estén al llarg d'uns 300 metres i està feta de nombroses peces d'acrílic, la qual cosa li confereix un aspecte transparent i lleuger. Les superfícies interiors i exteriors flueixen les unes cap a les altres. La llum s'utilitza a tot l'espai per afavorir la compartició, l'obertura i la interacció. El projecte es va completar el 2021.

Unique Properties: This design focuses on presenting a dual-marketing experience center engaged in industry, business, office, residence and hotel among other aspects. Besides, it will serve as municipal urban exhibition hall, community-oriented government service center, urban garden community art center and so on. For these reasons, there should be a subtle balance between grand vision, futuristic space and design individuality because it lies at the core of designing process.

Production Technology: We build a large installation named “Aurora Polaris” This cryogenic work of art is created on a cosmic scale using many pieces of acrylic. So, you can imagine how transparent and ethereal it is. Wow, it’s an epitome of sparkling beauty and ultimate mystery!
Design Challenge: First, the exterior facades and the interior spaces blend into each other without showing any sign of unnatural design or fabrication. Second, various spaces interactive with light are used to the greatest extent possible for the sake of sharing, opening, and interaction with humans.
Research: The space must be alive.
A human in the space should be beautiful.
The space should be embracive.
Inspiration: The entire building looks like a sparkling diamond just discovered or a bright, ethereal wing. But when it comes to interior design, all our effort is to divide the space into different zones strictly and adapt those zones to various needs for the space.
Project Duration: The project started in January 2021 in Chengdou and finished in October 2021 in Chengdou, and was exhibited in Chengdou in October 2021.
Operation Flow: One building pokes into the azure sky while another gets half-embedded into the earth. One building is folded and turned while another is rolled and lapped.
