Lagos és una taula de menjador dissenyada per a menjadors i altres espais compartits. El disseny utilitza línies netes i formes geomètriques definides per aconseguir una aparença minimalista. La base de fusta té un acabat texturitzat que recorda el ciment, vinculant referències naturals i urbanes. La forma de la base pot variar, des d'estructures tradicionals fins a interpretacions més escultòriques. La taula mesura 310 centímetres d'amplada, 80 centímetres d'alçada i 120 centímetres de profunditat, oferint un ampli espai per als convidats. Els acabats de fusta certificada, metall i formigó garanteixen la durabilitat en l'ús diari.

The Lagos table is designed to be a focal point in dining rooms, with a base that can vary in terms of shapes, from more traditional structures to more sculptural and innovative interpretations.

Design Challenge: One of the main challenges was finding a perfect balance between the desired aesthetics and functionality. Leite wanted to create a table that was not only beautiful but also practical for everyday use. The design of the base, for example, needed to be visually interesting without compromising the stability of the table. To overcome this obstacle, several prototypes and stability tests were necessary, which led to adjustments in the proportions and materials used.
Research: The design research of Victor Leite's Lagos table began with the analysis of the needs of users and market trends. Inspired by natural landscapes, Leite sketched several ideas, exploring shapes and materials. With prototypes, stability and functionality were tested, adjusting details as needed. The choice of materials, such as wood and metal, and the use of laser cutting technology have ensured a final product that combines aesthetics and durability, creating a functional and elegant piece.
Inspiration: The Lagos Dining Table was inspired by the desire to blend natural elements with modern design. Its wooden base, featuring a textured finish reminiscent of cement, strikes a balance between nature and urban aesthetics. Designed for both style and functionality, it provides ample space and comfort for guests, making it ideal for those who seek a distinctive touch of elegance and practicality in their dining space.
