About Wolo Interior Design sa Hotel

Ang Wolo usa ka hotel nga nahimutang sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ang interior design nagpakita sa kultura sa Malaysia ug sa mga bili sa brand nga Wolo sa usa ka contemporary ug bold nga paagi. Ang kasaysayan sa Kuala Lumpur maoy sentro nga tema. Ang reception counter ug ang dako nga hawiranan sa entrada gihimo sa kamot ug gitapos gamit ang custom nga pewter, nga nagpahinumdom sa taas nga kasaysayan sa paghimo og pewter sa siyudad. Ang layered nga topograpiya sa lokal nga mga minahan gigamit isip pattern alang sa carpet sa koridor, sa mga ceiling pendant lights ug sa mga samin sa kwarto. Unique Properties: The most uniques feature in this design is that the project reflect Malaysian culture as well as WOLO brand value in a contemporary, creative and bold way. An enormous amount of thought, consideration, attention to details has gone into every aspect of the project. There are so much to be shared and one of them is Kuala Lumpur long and glorious history of pewter products. The hotel reception counter and entrance grand handle is handmade and finished with custom pewter.

Design Challenge: The hardest part of this design activity apart from its deadline is transforming Kuala Lumpur’s “DNA” into the project. For example, Kuala Lumpur has long mining history and hence topography layered pattern of mining field is incorporated into steel hence, corridor carpet, ceiling pendant light and the hotel room mirror. It is noteworthy that one of the key features of interior design is the “Kuala Lumpur Wall” displaying in lobby where Lumpur means “mud” in Malaysia national language and coupled with Kuala it means “muddy confluence”. The design and installation of the wall is certainly challenging and watching the result is fulfilling.
Inspiration: As a Malaysian designer who is born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, this project is inspired by “Kuala Lumpur”. With the great enthusiasm to make WOLO hotel a true Malaysian brand, Kuala Lumpur’s “DNA” has been incorporated into the design in such a way that history, cultures and stories of Kuala Lumpur are reflected in many aspects in WOLO hotel.
Project Duration: The project started in December 2018 and finished in october 2019 #the project is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
