À propositu di Diagonal Scrivania

Diagonal hè una scrivania cuncepita intornu à una sola idea geomètrica, a linea diagonale chì unisce dui cantoni oppisti. U pianu hè fattu di cumpensatu cù impiacatura di noce, è u disegnu di l'impiacatura seguita a listessa guida diagonale. I dui supporti sò fatti d'acciaghju cù una finitura à polvera, è tramindui supporti sò piazzati longu à a listessa linea. U scheletru strutturale principale hè piattatu à l'internu di u pianu è porta u pesu attraversu trè culonne corte finu à i supporti. Un bordu smussatu è un spaziu trà u pianu è i supporti fàcenu apparisce a superficia cum'è s'ella fussi galleghjante.

Pruprietà Uniche: Diagonal logic was extended to every element and compositional logic of the desk, not only reveals on the layout of walnut veneer of the tabletop, but also applies to structural skeleton that transmits force from the top to stand. Furthermore, the positions of two stands are also aligned to the diagonal guide line of the desktop.
Dimensioni è Imballaghju: Width 850 mm X Length 1700 mm X Height 750 mm
Etichette: Table,Diagonal,Taiwan,Furniture
Tecnulugia di Pruduzzione: Stand:Steel frame with powder coating surface,
Tabletop of plywood with walnut veneer
Sfida di Designu: The main structural skeleton was embedded within the tabletop and transmits the force thru three mediated columns to the stand. The skeleton was placed at the center line of the desk and holds up two cross diagonal logic. Then connects to two 90 degree table stands.
Ricerca: The bevel detail of tabletop and the technique to distant stand and tabletop are both meant to lighten upper part of the desk and create a floating illusion.
Ispirazione: The concept of table “Diagonal 45” is initiated from the geometric term which is one line segment joins two nonconsecutive vertices. The connection between each vertex not only creates a tension but also draw a frame to form an area. The idea is to use the simplest geometry to establish a steady and sleek structure of a table.
Durata di u Prugettu: The project was made in Oct 2017
Flussu Operativu: Void and Solid interaction:
If you stand at the perfect diagonal angle from different side of table, you will be given a total different impression of the desk. One is light as modern steel frame glass building, but from the other angle, the desk will be more like solid concrete building. And of course the view and impression will become various when you walk along the table. The balance between dynamic and static, void and solid are swinging between the diagonal lines.
