Production Technology
The device features a smooth oil spraying process for a comfortable grip, while the nail file pen is finished with anodization for vibrant colors, scratch resistance, and durability.
Plastic components are waterproof, and the aluminum alloy parts are corrosion resistant, supporting alcohol wipes and UV disinfection to ensure hygiene and safety.
Flame retardant inert materials are integrated into the ABS shell to effectively prevent battery related combustion, enhancing overall safety.
Design Challenge
Addressing the challenge of providing optimal lighting for precise filing, the product features an industry exclusive lighting function that delivers clear illumination free of shadows. It also includes speed control, forward and reverse rotation, timer display, and builtin power supply for the nail file pen, meeting various professional needs. The nail file pen has a central unlock mechanism for one handed bit changes, and the ambient breathing light fosters a more enjoyable working atmosphere.
Research
Traditional gel polish removal methods rely on chemical removers and manual buffing, which are time-consuming and potentially damage to nails. This nail drill changes the game with its physical grinding method, avoiding chemical hazards and significantly improving efficiency. Enhanced with dynamic multi color flowing light effects, visual feedback on speed adjustment, and integrated lighting on the main unit, it offers nail technicians a more convenient, comfortable, and efficient way to work.
Inspiration
Inspired by cameras, the design features a rectangular body with a metal knob that turns lens rotation into speed control, creating a unique boxy form with rounded corners and edges. The boxy shape conveys professionalism, softened by the circular knob and 10mm fillet radius for visual balance. It pairs premium gray with matte black, accented with a colorful ring for a high tech, professional feel. Its ambient light is practical and emotionally resonating, embodying technological warmth.
Project Duration
The design and development of this nail drill began in Shenzhen, China, in 2024. It is scheduled to be launched in October 2025.
Operation Flow
The speed knob is centrally placed on the upper half of the device, within easy reach of natural hand movements. A simple fingertip glide achieves 0 to 30,000 RPM stepless speed adjustment.
The nail file pen features an ergonomic grip with circular anti-slip textures, distributing pressure evenly for comfortable use over two hours with minimal fatigue.
An integrated 2600mAh battery delivers 4 to 8 hours of strong performance, so users can move around freely without being limited by power cables.
