About Kang Yuan Primary Function: Interiérový design hotelové recepce
Kang Yuan je vstupní hala hotelu v Tchien-men v Číně. Prostor zaujímá 2800 metrů čtverečních a má výšku 3,5 metru. Dřevo, sklo, kov a kámen jsou hlavními materiály. Paravánová stěna nahrazuje obvyklou recepci, navazuje na tradiční architektonickou formu a vytváří vizuální hloubku prostřednictvím metody vypůjčené krajiny z orientálních zahrad. Třídílné rohové schodiště spojuje obě patra a nabízí měnící se výhledy, takže pohyb halou připomíná procházku zahradou. Teplé světlo a klidná atmosféra podporují přechod z exteriéru do interiéru.
