Text knihy: IT Factory je kancelářský interiér vytvořený v zrekonstruované průmyslové budově v Charkově na Ukrajině. Kancelář se rozkládá na ploše 4500 metrů čtverečních a je v provozu nepřetržitě, proto jsou pracovní a odpočinkové zóny vyvážené. Stávající betonové konstrukce a kovová úhlová ztužení byla zachována a využita jako akcenty interiéru. Prostor s dvojnásobnou výškou stropu ve druhém patře přidává pracovní místa a zároveň ponechává prostor pro odpočinek. Nové systémy vzduchotechniky, vytápění a klimatizace zůstávají viditelné jako součást interiéru. Výrazné, uměřené barevné akcenty se vyhýbají monotónnosti.

Jedinečné vlastnosti: The priority was to preserve the existing concrete structures and use them as accents of the interior space.The introduction of bright colour accents helped to avoid monotony and uniformity of spaces, as well as to visually refocus attention during the operation of the premises.

Výrobní technologie: Renovation of any old premises, as a rule, involves significant alterations of the engineering part. And this is one of the most difficult parts of the entire construction process. It is known that objects built during the Soviet era do not have modern ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems. Thus, the new engineering networks have become an additional element of the space.
Designová výzva: The most challenging in this project was deciding which construction to leave as it is, restorate or demolish. It was a priority to preserve the existing structures so that they could be used in the interior - for example, metal knee brace. But still some constructions required complete restoration - the walls of the second and third floors were built again. Using engineering systems and constructions allowed to create office identity and turn obstacles to advantage.
Inspirace: The main interest and inspiration for the studio is the very essence of the renovation project - the restoration of an empty space of an industrial building and the embodiment of a new life in it through the introduction of new functions.
Doba trvání projektu: Project started in September 2020 and finished January 2021, in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Provozní postup: The main factor for the formation of space is office working hours - it is open 24/7. Such an environment has to be comfortable, thus the balance of functional zones becomes as important as it’s set. To create in open space enough working places but save room for resting zones double-height space on the second floor was developed. Choosing a colour scheme the decision was to introduce bright but carefully measured accents, which don't take all the attention.
