Kniha Text: Když se současnost setkává s minulostí je interiérový design restaurace ve městě Tchaojüan na Tchaj-wanu, dokončený v srpnu 2015. Projekt obnovuje starou místní restauraci v prostoru o rozloze 198,34 metrů čtverečních. Design čerpá ze stylu Suzhou v Číně a aplikuje čínskou estetiku na jídelní prostor. Strop je doplněn mřížovím inspirovaným tradičními čínskými dřevěnými konstrukčními metodami. Tradiční čínské dřevěné dveře s vyřezávanými okenními mřížemi oddělují chodby a umožňují flexibilní využití prostoru. Zrcadlové plochy opticky rozšiřují prostor a velké nástěnné malby zobrazují tradiční výjevy.
