O designu X World Oděv

X World je konceptuální oděv inspirovaný rentgenovými snímky hmyzu. Design převádí hmyzí exoskelet do nositelné podoby a umisťuje na lidské tělo vrstvy struktur připomínajících krunýř. X World je vytvořen pomocí čínského řemesla palácových luceren, techniky zapsané na seznamu nehmotného kulturního dědictví. Po mnoha materiálových zkouškách byla konstrukce ze železného drátu zkombinována s hedvábným gázem – spojení, které je lehké i pružné zároveň. Oděv je jemný, a přesto pevný, a prezentuje zranitelnost jako dočasnou formu ochrany.

Výzkum: The design of the work is derived from the first "X" light insect photos of photographer Nick Veasey. Starting from the materials and combination methods, I combined with the palace lantern technology of China's intangible cultural heritage. Finally, I chose the combination of the two materials, the skeleton made of iron wire and the silk gaux, which is both light and flexible. It has the aesthetic feeling of sensibility and rationality.
Inspirace: The design of the work is derived from the first "X" light insect photos of photographer Nick Veasey, and the insects in the photos are both emotional and rational beauty. I was deeply attracted by the insects, so the exoskeleton made into clothing.

Provozní postup: Vulnerability is the body's natural "airbag" that turns it into protection when we are faced with a difficult or mentally challenging situation. I think of this protection as an insect exoskeleton attached to our bodies, providing a temporary sense of security. I made this "exoskeleton" into clothes. It's beautiful and fragile, thin and tough.
