About Beams of Light Obytný interiérový design

Paprsky světla je obytný interiérový design v Novém Tchaj-peji na Tchaj-wanu, který se rozkládá na ploše 414 metrů čtverečních. Otevřená dispozice využívá velkorysý prostor a okna téměř na všech stranách k oddělení společných a soukromých zón. Mřížkové prvky u vstupu vytvářejí pocit řádu. Dřevěná podlaha s rybinovým vzorem usměrňuje pohyb prostorem a dlouhá chodba odděluje jídelnu v zemitých tónech od chladné šedé obývací místnosti. Dřevo a kámen dodávají interiéru teplý a klidný charakter. Soukromé místnosti využívají dřevěné materiály a přirozené světlo k podpoře odpočinku.

Unique Properties: Organic atmosphere is provided by the wood and stone, integrating into a restrained gentleness in the space. The simplicity and coziness of the interior design epitomize a personality that includes both modernity and the timeless aesthetics.

Production Technology: Making good use of the big space and window installations on nearly all sides, the designer applies an open-plan layout to ingeniously divide the common and the private areas. Lattice elements and patterns are applied at the entrance to create a sense of order. Light colored stone material's reflective feature combined with the moonlight landscaping, on the other hand, draw attention while one enters the space.
Design Challenge: Contrasting to the grandeur of the common area, the private spaces are applied with graceful wooden materials, embellished through overlapping lines and introduction of sunlight. While making sure users can get to relax in this living environment, the design customizes each room with personality without overdoing it.
Research: The kitchen and the dining area, on the other side, is designed with irregular lines of the window lattices. The pattern not only introduces great natural lighting but also keeps a certain distance for privacy between the neighboring buildings. The brown colors spreading out, creates a gentle atmosphere. The flower-shaped ceiling chandelier and the symmetrical stone wall veins add in more exquisite details to the beauty of simplicity.
Inspiration: Gazing afar at the metropolitan cityscape with the surrounding mountain ridges, residents get to slow down the pace of living to appreciate time and space in warmth, illumination and tranquility. In such an elegant earth tone and cool gray palette that spreads out simplicity and purity, diverse material textures delineate artistic and cultural symbols.
Project Duration: This project is finished in April 2021 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
Operation Flow: Making a turn to enter the extensive common space, one is led subconsciously by the single herringbone wooden flooring pattern. The long hallway divides the common space into the earth toned dining area and the cool gray living room. All the elements including the lines, the patterns, the stone vines, and the textile texture, depict the gray in diversity.
