About Stoniture Pohovka

Stoniture je pohovka inspirovaná tvarem přírodního kamene. Design má zaoblenou hranu a širokou opěrnou plochu, které zajišťují pohodlnou a uvolněnou polohu při sezení. Pěna sedáku se pod váhou mírně přizpůsobuje, takže sedací plocha kopíruje tělo. Konstrukce korpusu je vyrobena ze dřeva a sedák obsahuje pěnu o hustotě 30. Pohovka měří 110 x 95 x 50 centimetrů. Jednoduchý tvar má odrážet prostotu přírodního kamene a vytvářet pocit důvěrné blízkosti. Stoniture byla navržena v Teheránu v roce 2023.

Unique Properties: The furniture piece is designed with a curved edge and a proper support surface to provide a comfortable and relaxing position. The seat foam adjusts slightly when sitting, ensuring a comfortable experience for the user. The simple design of the furniture piece is meant to reflect the simplicity and beauty of natural stone.
Dimensions & Packaging: The size of the sofa is 110*95*50 cm.

Production Technology: The body structure has been made from wood. It has 30 density foam in its seat.
Design Challenge: The main goal of the project was to create a concept based on natural environmental elements and respect for the environment. The main challenge in designing the project was to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing design that captures the essence of the designer's inspiration while also meeting the practical needs of users.
Research: For designing this project, the designer do research about the properties and characteristics of natural stone and how to translate those into a functional piece of furniture. Also, he did research about different materials and production methods to ensure that the furniture piece is durable and can withstand regular use.
Inspiration: The designer drew inspiration from natural stone, one of the most primitive elements of nature, to create a sense of familiarity and trust at an intuitive level. The designer aimed to evoke the feeling of being surrounded by nature, where the user feels like a stone around which water flows.
Project Duration: It has been designed in Tehran in 2023.
Operation Flow: The interaction between the natural element of stone and the function of the furniture has determined the current form. The designer aimed to create a furniture piece that feels like a part of nature, creating a unique blend of nature and functionality.
