Chowmein Holiday je krátký temně komediální film o dvou asijsko-amerických babičkách, Li Ling a May, na cestě autem napříč Kalifornií. Obě postavy se během cesty pustí do série zločinů. Jedna babička nachází nový smysl života, zatímco druhá před svou spolupachatelkou tají tajemství. Film vznikl s cílem zpochybnit běžné filmové stereotypy o starších ženách.
