About Bonsai - Podere Le Ripi Obal na láhev vína

Bonsai je design obalu na lahev vína vytvořený pro omezené množství lahví vína IGT Toscana Rosso vyráběného vinařstvím Podere Le Ripi v Montalcinu v Itálii. Víno pochází z révy pěstované na omezeném prostoru, což vede rostliny k tomu, aby zapustily hluboké kořeny a hledaly živiny daleko pod povrchem. Aby design odrážel tento vzácný původ, není použita žádná tištěná papírová etiketa. Motiv vinné révy je sítotiskem nanesen přímo na sklo v platinové, zlaté a matné černé barvě. Dekor má rozměry 13 krát 4 centimetry a je umístěn na lahvi typu bordolese.

Unique Properties: The project emerged from the need to produce a limited number of bottles for Bonsai, a IGT Toscana Rosso wine, produced by Podere Le Ripi in Montalcino in Italy. Bonsai is the result of a unique cultivation of the vine in which the vines grow in confined spaces which allows the plant to take root and find nourishment deep in the earth.
Dimensions & Packaging: The decoration measures 13x4 cm and is directly printed on a bordolese bottle

Production Technology: Screen printing on glass with platinum, gold and matt black
Inspiration: The creative idea came from the symbolic representation of the uniqueness of the Bonsai vine and its precious nature. This is why we decided against a simple printed label and decided to produce a platinum, gold and matt black image of a vine screen-printed on glass for a collectable wine.
Project Duration: The project started in 2011 and had a first appearance made on a paper label. Screen printing on glass has been done in 2019.
