About Meduse Lamp Cerfluniol
Mae Meduse yn lamp gerfluniol wedi'i hysbrydoli gan gynefinoedd morol. Mae pob darn yn cyfuno cerameg Raku â thentaclau gwydr Murano chwythedig. Mae'r lamp yn addas ar gyfer defnydd dan do ac awyr agored ac yn creu effeithiau golau a chysgod ar waliau cyfagos. Gellir addasu goleuadau LED amryliw gyda rheolydd o bell. Mae'r corff cerameg wedi'i fowldio mewn clai gwrthdanllyd, ei sychu, ei danio, ei wydro a'i danio eto ar 930 gradd Celsius, yna ei dynnu o'r ffwrn tra'n dal yn boeth. Mae'r sioc thermol sy'n deillio o hyn yn creu wyneb craciog gyda adlewyrchiadau metelaidd ac iridesgol.

Two identities, Peru and Italy two different cultures highly integrated in the Medusa lamps, after a process of deconstruction and liberation from history for giving space to a new syncretic language.
Integration of two materials only ceramic Peru and Murano glass, harmonized thanks to the reflections of multicolored Led lighting.
Raku process during the heat shock, the flames and the oxygen reduction method at 930 degrees celsius, are decisive for both the craquelure decorative effect and metallic and iridescent reflections. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- After the modelling with refractory clay, I begin a deconstruction process of the traditional shape, a 20 day long drying process begins. I go on with the first cooking at 950 degrees celsius, the glazing process and the second cooking into a Raku oven at 930 degrees celsius. The object is removed still white-hot from the oven. Arrangement of the Led lighting system and finally the insertion of the Murano blown glass tentacles.
- Design Challenge
- Take the pieces out of the oven at 940 degrees celsius and quickly manage the thermal shock in three minutes.
The integration of the glass tentacles on the ceramic base. - Research
- The goal is to create lamps that integrate Art and Design. The method is transversal by integrating two techniques ceramics with Murano glass; Through the Deconstruction of art, a process of liberation from the traditional historical form begins to give way to a new syncretic language.
